I remember sardines when I was a kid. You open the can and they are all laying there, heads and tails still on them, and for sure nobody cleaned them. The eyes stare at you. Yikes.

King Oscar's "Tiny Tots" brisling sardines in olive oil are my favorite.
Brisling, in olive oil, prefer smoked. Even better if there's blue cheese dressing to go with it.😋
