This is something Vickie did every day for me while I was working. She made my breakfast too. I never asked her once to do these things.

@Gibbon I made most of our meals; he wasn't much of a cook, never bothered me to do it. I packed his lunch, usually leftovers, which he liked.

@Justmeraeagain the first morning she was here I woke to breakfast and was very grateful

@Gibbon That was very sweet of her

@Justmeraeagain these are some of the things we both miss without their presence

@Gibbon I miss doing things for family.
My daughter was living with us for a long time.
She was probably a giver, and that is how she was the happiest.
I know, I miss it.
I am lost now, not knowing what to do without anyone here but me

@Justmeraeagain I feel the same. Vickie being here gave me purpose. I have sat on my butt since she passed except for going to the hospital and the doctor and now I don't have the critters to care for
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Gibbon it's hard to get motivated again that's for sure

@Justmeraeagain it's very difficult. I'm tired of the advice people give online.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Gibbon I don't think people who haven't had this type of loss really know what it feels like and honestly they shouldn't pretend that they do.
Saying, I'm sorry is honestly enough... I wish some of them would stop with just that.

@Justmeraeagain I agree.
