I don't understand why people like to eat mac and cheese on so many levels

I just don't understand it.

(1) It looks like cum and worms.
(2) It is low class poverty food for people who have kids, a "baby daddy", and use SNAP.
(3) It tastes like food that was already eaten.

There's a lot about American cuisine I don't understand.
Whatever it is they call "cheesecake" is an absolute mystery to me. I'm not even sure it's food.
