Mama is coming to dinner tonight
My Mama is coming to have dinner with Chiara and me tonight because Papa has a late meeting at the ministry. It’ll be fabulous because we have not had a girls night in a while and I want her to see the progress Edoardo has made on getting the nursery ready for baby.
Yes, some will see that as tempting fate, but as Catholics we don’t shape our lives with the old Roman religion of superstition and fatalism, our faith is in Christ. Yes, it is difficult after family members at times forget this! The nursery is not quite ready but it will be by Easter.
I have a few ideas for dinner tonight, I know the recipes that I have which Mama particularly enjoys so I will look in the cold store and the refrigerator and see what I will try to create that we will enjoy a good deal. Mama will likely come over after work and help out as usual.
