See, I just don't trust Chinese restaurants in the US

I say this being half Chinese myself. There are just entirely too many reports of unsantitary conditions in those places. Go on google and type "chinese restaurant unsanitary" then compare that with "italian restaurant unsanitary". Also I know about Chinese culture. These are the kind of people that will literally count napkins they give to people to save a quarter. So what do you think they are going do when they make your food?

This is also of course reflected in Chinese products like Temu and Wish.

I can't be racist about this unless I am racist against myself. 🤷‍♂

I do eat Chinese food here in the US sometimes but either I cooked it or its some REALLY upscale restaurant of the sort that has valet parking.

Years ago I was waiting for my family's order cause I went to go pick it up and I saw through the kitchen window some chinese dudes sitting on the kitchen floor just eating. A man in the kitchen spotted me looking and covered up the window with cardboard so I couldn't keep looking. Welp..... whatver that means.

When it comes to being cheap well the Japanese aren't any better. Granted im american and not from Japan but I've seen it in my family and in other Japanese

@TempuraShrimp My dad worked in refrigeration and he said Chinese restaurant kitchens always had a clean sopt on the floor where they chop the food.
I hope he was exaggerating.
