Any Christmas dinner disasters?

I think there must have been a power surge or whatever it's called because I assumed the turkey was almost ready to come out of the oven and put the roast potatoes, stuffing and pigs in blankets in, stabbed the turkey with the thermometer and it was only half cooked so everything else came back out and in went the turkey again. Dinner was almost an hour and a half later than planned 😆
It turned out good in the end though! 👌

I just made literally double the amount of food needed. I wanted there to be enough, but I didn’t intend for it to be that much. My daughter took that untouched / unopened tray to a party. So at least they didn’t go to waste.

Sorry you had a bit of a rough time with your food today.

@MellyMel22 Better to have too much than not enough and you can eat some tomorrow 🙂

Thanks but it was delicious despite the wait.

@BlobbyMcBlobface That’s great then!

I honestly don’t care for left over pasta. It was a tray of penne vodka.
