I see people blame their weight and bad health on healthy food not being affordable, yet...

When I swapped out foods for healthier choices, I found myself spending less on my grocery shopping. And then this spirit of taking responsibility and focusing on spending my time and money on that which I know to be the right things spread to other aspects of my life, and things just kept getting better.

No "corporation" held a gun to my head telling me "don't buy that £2.50 box of chicken, buy that £2.50 bag of pastries instead".

And why do these responsibility shirkers, who always seem to be left-wing, think that using the word "corporation" is a magical word that absolves them of all self-responsibility and passes anything negative onto a more successful person? Grow up. You tell me you don't have the time to prepare a 20-minute healthy meal, but have an hour to doom scroll? Grow up. You have an infinite divine potential that you aren't meeting.

I agree. Fresh is best and cheaper. But what people are paying for is convenient. The processing that goes into making foods simpler and quicker to prepare is what people are paying for. Shop at a farmers market and spend more time in food preparation and you will save a lot of money..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman That takes a bit of effort though, and people would rather blame something else than their own lack of strength of character.
