While often associated with the British custom of scones and tiny sandwiches, the term itself can be used to describe any casual, transitional meal consumed in that time slot.

3. The Fifth Meal
Why it's better: It's not a portmanteau, which is the main problem with "linner" and "dunch." It's a clear, self-explanatory, and a little bit grand term that immediately explains the meal's position in the day: Breakfast, Second Breakfast/Elevenses (optional), Lunch, Fourth Meal (optional), Fifth Meal, Dinner/Supper. It leans into the idea of a fully-scheduled day of eating, à la the hobbits of Middle-earth.

So, my final best answer is Lupper, for its superior flow and logical consistency with Brunch.
