@NativePortlander1970 When I was diagnosed with cancer in July 2023 I was craving watermelon badly every single day. Ray would go find watermelon for me so I could have some. He kept me in watermelon till the season ended that year. I didn’t get dehydrated till I went on chemo and then I was so weak and there was no watermelon to be found. I was craving pomegranates and Ray kept me in pomegranates till the season ended so I bought pomegranate juice till after chemo ended. I think both of those fruits are beneficial. Watermelon is very hydrating and anti-inflammatory (cucumbers too) so helpful in that way. Pomegranate is beneficial in other ways for cancer patients.

@cherokeepatti My chemo nutritionist and cancer surgeon both recommended protein shakes, now I go through about 3 gallons of milk and almost 2 cannisters of flavored whey powder a week, I like Six Star brand the best...

@NativePortlander1970 Dr. Berg made a You tube video about whey protein. You need to watch it. He claims that there are 3 categories of cancers and for one of those categories it feeds the cancer and makes it grow faster. It doesn’t cause the cancer but feeds it. I buy and use egg white protein now due to that.
