Do You Drink Gatorade?

I won’t drink it at all. The dyes and sugar etc in it is why. It’s making a huge amount of profits for something that we could make our self at home with inexpensive ingredients.

I was working on a job one day when, at lunch, one of the crewmen asked his supervisor, "Doug which is better Gatorade or Powerade?" Poor Doug's mouth hung open in stunned disbelief as he realised the questioner was serious.

I don't drink the stuff but when my wife was going through chemo her oncologist told her to drink Powerade for the electrolytes her body needed but were being eliminated by the chemo. My wife recovered and will not drink Powerade or Gatorade again.

@hippyjoe1955 I searched online and found some electrolyte packet sticks that had no sugar or dyes etc. It was sold on Dr. Berg’s website. Only reason I did that was if I wasn’t feeling well I could put it in a bottle of water quickly and drink it straight down and could also take it with me for medical appointments. I still have about 2/3 of the packets in case I need them. That pinch of salt that I had been taking wasn’t hurting me a bit. When I get dehydrated my blood pressure drops and I get weak so it was beneficial and not too much either. I take magnesium and potassium every day anyway. And if my sodium level gets low especially at night I wake up with leg cramps. Take a pinch of salt and some water and within 15 minutes it’s eased up and I can go back to sleep.
