Do you feel overwhelmed when a family member asks you what you want for dinner when you're on the way home?

So my mum was on the way home. She was running late.

She tells me she's a the train station waiting for the bus.

Which will arrive in 8 mins.

Immediately I ask her if there is something that she wants to eat.

She says nothing in particular I'm starving as I haven't had any lunch.

I ask her immediately if she wants Chinese. No response.

So I keep messaging saying if not Chinese, burgers? Chicken or pasta?

Still ignores me.
So I call.
I call 4 times and she doesn't pick up until she's outside.
In a huff. I didn't hear my phone ringing!

I just tell her I'm ordering burgers what toppings does she want. She then snaps when I get in I'll tell you.

So I wait, she then starts with the just order for yourself.
So I tell her I've got the cheeseburger here I just need to know the toppings.
She comes in all flustered and tells me what she wants.

Oh tell me how much it is and I will send you the money.

So I tell her I didn't ask for money, I asked what you wanted.

Now she's sitting here in a mood.

I'm trying to make her life easier... What is the hardship?

Everything is always such a drama with her.

No one asks me what I want for dinner. I just eat people.
