Lima beans. I’ve always hated them. When I was about 5, my dad got so angry at me for not eating my Lima beans that he jammed them into my mouth and held my mouth closed until I gagged them down and swallowed them. Aside from the less than stellar parenting model he provided which I chose to never follow, I also developed a lifelong hatred of Lima beans.

Lima beans are odd; I think they're meant to be used as paste for binding, not for 'eat as is', but, I don't utilize them in particular.

@BamPow I can eat the green baby Lima beans but those large dry LIma beans bloated me up something terrible when I cooked them. Hadn’t had that problem with most other beans.

@cherokeepatti Potential allergen?

@Amyrakunejo Not allergic, the dry ones don’t agree with me. Might be too much of a certain type of sugar in them to cause that problem.
