Yes, I'm Mexican and rice is a staple of our diet and our culture, but to be honest, I think rice a staple of everyone's culture.

@calicuz I had to look this up, the least rice consuming country is tunisia (1.24kg/person), compared to sweden and USA: 10.9 and 11.5.

@calicuz we're all pretty far down, but I think that's because the statistics probably takes rice production into account... like gambia has 379kg/person per year, but I don't think the average person can eat +1kg of rice per day 🤣
