It's been months since I've stopped eating after around 2pm

And then don't have any food until around 7 am. My body has been fighting against me the whole time. Suddenly, it seems it has relented and weight is starting to drop. At least, my pants are suddenly looser, lol.

Have you considered/tried fasting on the other half of your day? I find it easier to fast until 2 then close the eating window promptly after an early dinner.
