@badminton You can if your glucose is under control. Try a CGM if you haven’t. It changed my life.

@RedBaron Mine is under control. I'm taking metformin, two 750mg tabs twice daily. I've been on it for six years.

@badminton But using a CGM will lower the A1C and give you constant real time feedback.

Glucose levels fluctuate, and testing by pricking the finger gives static readings and doesn’t show the fluctuations.

I have been able to eat and drink things I wouldn’t have touched before because I have more information.

@badminton I use one called Freestyle Libre 3 and it’s covered by my insurance. There are others as well.
