Some of my favourite, most memorable meals, in no particular order.
A Yemenite cafe, attached to a garage in Rosh Haayin. I can't remember exactly what we had. The table was full of flatbreads, dips and salads, followed by grilled meats.
An Umu, on the beach in Opoutama, camping with a friend and her Samoan family. There was fresh red snapper caught that morning, lamb, and veg. All wrapped in leaves and cooked in a fire pit.
My 60th birthday meal at a restaurant in our town. No Michelin stars, but great food.
