@SBelle: I love making my corn muffins a little picante. Jalpenos, Thai peppers, serranos, habneros...or just ground cayenne pepper. Not too much, I don't want to hurt or scare anyone with my food but enough to know it's there.

oh I could eat cornbread and picante.. I like mine with onions too , just line the bottom of the pan with sliced onions

@FilthyBeast: yes it is good like that and add just a little and melt it then onions and then batter--oh yummy

I live onions. I like to cut one up and mix it in a bowl with orange chunks and just have that as a sort of salad.
