Do u see a difference in my bread and the burnt Bread?

I came in and they were serving this aweful bread. If that was my food i wouldve asked for a refund. The bread was bad! I always have to Save the Day!

Bread is a hard one to say on just an image.

For instance the first set on the top may very well be under cooked. Even burnt bread is better than doughy bread.

The browning however maybe be because butter was added on the top. That is a normal practice in bread making.

My father was a baker. And I don't know how many times I watched him bake bread at the bakery.

My father had made practically every type of bread you can think of. Even flax seed bread.

I often slept at the bakery after midnight.

@DeWayfarer it wasnt undercooked 😐 we dont have butter here either.

@ScarletWitch usually it's clarified butter at that if it's a decent bakery. Yet there's still no way to tell if it's under cooked from any image.

The only way to tell is to cut it and pinch the middle.

BTW all wonder bread is under cooked because it makes a dough when you pinch the middle.

One of my father's tips.
