We eat a Tuscany vegetable soup with cabbage, onions, tomatoes, and cannalini beans in it. I love it on a cold winter evening. Leftovers freeze ok. But the cabbage loses its crunch or crispness then. I amnot a fan if it has become wilty or limp.

Sounds good to me. Love my pasta, but also love cooking with beans. Or a simple bean and corn cold salad with Italian dressing. And baked beans with franks is always a hit.
