Anyone tried cherry beer ?

A colleague took me out for a beer and a bite to eat after work and the pub/restaurant served up a very nice seafood pie and a pint of cherry beer. !

Tasted like a nice ale but definitely had a cherry tang aftertaste.
Certainly one to revisit.

I've had a few cherry beers. A couple Lambics, a few sours, a pale ale with cherries, and a couple stouts aged with cherries in the barrel

@Picklebobble2 Brooklyn's Kriek (an American version of a Lambic) was quite good. Ommegang's barrel aged stout (cherries in the barrel) was very good, but considering their products that is almost an insult.
