i need to look up a recipe so i can make them from scratch at some point 🤔

I have a vivid memory of my mom and grandmother making them from scratch, it not going well and ultimately ending up in a shouting match.

I've been intimidated to try making them from scratch my entire adult life because of that.

I should make them sometimes. But now I'm so stuffed that I have a hunch it's not going to be anytime soon. 😆 I leave out potatoes though and fill half of them with plum preserves and half with curd.
