Have you ever sold homemade food?

Did you need a license? Is there a way to get around cottage food laws? Did you sell under thr table or was there a paper trail?

See i sell candy and by law i dont require a license because its a non perishable but i thought about doing fruit as well. Dried fruit.

In the mid-60’s, I didn’t get a license and went door-to-door selling homemade brownies till I sold out each day. Made several pans of them.

I used to bake some things using my own recipes for a small mom and pop bakery in town many years ago ..
It was a dream come true

@SW-User well how did you do it? What hoops did you have to jump through
Someone I worked with did. She had to have food indpectors come in. Check out her kitchen area, etc. Check into by-laws. Food has lots of laws.
