I had a hankering for some good Mexican food so went to my favorite Mexican restaurant and started off with what they call "Guacamole Mexicana" and tortilla chips... which they make themselves, and had to end up taking the fajitas home in a doggie bag.

@Musicman I have poblanos I need to stuff. Told the boy I could make those and Spanish rice and taquitos. Maybe for the weekend. It’ll be a bit spicy but I am craving spicier food now, just not too hot.
@Musicman yeah it might be, hope I can handle the peppers. I love Mexican food but who knows these days. I’ve had some Thai curry and it was good but a little strong even the milder heat. Helped to stimulate my appetite which is good, I’ve gained back a little weight but don’t want to gain more. I bought smaller jeans and want to be able to wear them all year even though I kept a size larger that I had. I feel better not lugging around that extra weight.
@Musicman I’d love to go to a Mexican restaurant and have chips and dip and all of that, but probably not the best thing for me now. I can put away a basket of chips by myself with those tasty dips before the meal arrives. Not too hard to make enchiladas or taquitos at home and rice and beans either. I loved that corn salsa they had at the Mexican restaurant in Moore. We didn’t get it every time but it was so good along with their other dips.
