Yep, have been for years. After I had my son, I was appalled to discover the crap they put in baby food and vitamins. Then I started reading the labels on what I was eating as well. It's horrible how much absolute garbage is put into our food.

@AbbeyRhode yep, it's disgusting. I'm trying to eat as much natural stuff as I can anymore. I can't believe how much better I'm beginning to feel. It's got to be the processed foods and what FDA requires processing plants to do if they want to be able to sell to the public.

@IndianaJoes Same, and it's a challenge. A lot of foods that are labeled "natural" or "healthy" will still have junk in them.

@AbbeyRhode I think they recalled some applesauce marketed for children this month due to having levels of toxins in it. The FDA came out and said they believe it was done deliberately this time. They’ve not said that before that I know of. It’s been done deliberately all along I believe…not just foods and drinks, but hygiene and cosmetic items as well. I got lead in lipstick and was anemic for as long as I was using that L’Oreal Lipstick about 2-3 years. Taking iron supplements every day and barely getting my levels up to almost normal. Then they stopped selling that Endless line of lipsticks and my anemia stopped as well, I didn’t need to take iron. I was puzzled about that until I read an article stating that an independent consumer group tested lipsticks and found 25 of them to contain lead. Both shades of lipstick that I was using both had lead in them. 😡 You can’t tell me that such a large corporation that makes cosmetics and hygiene items couldn’t afford to test their ingredients to prevent that from happening. And it was other companies as well. There are CEO’s that have been compromised (blackmailed) and are allowing this to happen.

@AbbeyRhode of course. And for those who don't know why all of the ingredients look like scientific words... Here is why, Federal law requires that everything that is inside the product has to be labeled but they don't require that the manufacturer or processor gives up the recipe for obvious reasons. (Copyrights, patents and such). So there is a lot of stuff in there that would cause you to not want to buy the product if you knew what it really was. A lot of the stuff may not be so bad but if you heard the common names of some of the preservatives and other ingredients, it would scare you.

@IndianaJoes I know a doctor who came here from Sierra Leone to get her medical degree and she became a vegetarian. I asked her if it was her religion or why. She said it was because when she ate meat here in the USA she felt bad so decided to stop eating it. I think she may have done OK with all organic but who knows. She ate meat and fish in Sierra Leone and didn’t have issues with it.

@cherokeepatti That's the worst part of it all, we are being deliberately poisoned.

@AbbeyRhode We are living in a real Batman movie. These are the work of the Joker. If you remember the Batman movie made in the 80’s or early 90’s the Joker was contaminating a lot of things. Remember that scene where the news broadcaster ladies were doing news and not wearing any makeup? They were poisoning cosmetics. What we need is for Batman to come back. I think he is secretly working with the White Hats to bring these people down that are doing it but it’s going to take evidence of who did it and what is being contaminated and that takes time. I believe that’s why the FDA is saying they believe the applesauce was deliberately contaminated and they are investigating. I have heard that a lot of CEO’s have been removed “resigned” and this is probably the reason why.

@cherokeepatti I completely believe that. I love to eat meat. But I've been buying my meat directly from the farmers and bypassing the FDA and the grocery stores. I have noticed a huge difference in how I feel. Not to mention have you ever tasted what a hamburger is supposed to taste like? Can you imagine a hamburger that tastes double better than any old steak? It's true. Most people wouldn't believe it unless they tried it.

@IndianaJoes I was born on a farm. We raised all of our animals to butcher. It was grass-fed and good. One reason people were leaner back then is due to that. It has a much higher level of a fatty acid called CLA that promotes muscle growth and helps prevent or repair torn muscles.
