How much is your drink in a bar cost now?

This isn't my receipt, but one I saw on facebook. It is about $88 or £70.

About the same here about $15 Canadian for a pint of Guiness.

@JimboSaturn Bars are closing down everywhere, especially British pubs are vanishing. The whole traditional British pub culture is probably dying. 😕

@helenS That's a shame because those are my favourite places! They are doing ok in Canada I think or at least getting hit with the same impact.

@JimboSaturn I think national Covid lockdowns and soaring business costs have ravaged the entire hospitaly industry. And yes, the young may see pubs as a bit old-fashioned, or outdated, a granddad thing.
