How much is your drink in a bar cost now?

This isn't my receipt, but one I saw on facebook. It is about $88 or £70.

I just did some very rough sums.

When I first started drinking in pubs in 1980, the average UK wage was 250 pints/week

In 2023, it is 135 pints/week

@SW-User how interesting. Nearly everytime they put taxes up it is on alcohol.
