I love Ireland and the Irish people. I love Irish Americans. But, Irish food? Hmm. I like the way the Irish make cream of potato soup. I like bangers and mash. But I'm not a big fan of lamb in any form. I suspect a gentleman friend is planning to tie me to a kitchen chair and make me eat his lamb stew Saturday night! And he's doesn't even have any Irish blood in him! I'm going to need more Smithwick's than usual.

Okay, getting to the point, who prefers red ale, versus blonde ale, versus pale ale? I'm a red ale person.

Hi, are you a fan of kilts too?

@Wiseacre For you or others?
LeeInTheNorthWoods · 70-79, F
@justlooking2023 Yep. I enjoy seeing people exhibit their ethnic pride and take part in their traditions. I have a female version of a kilt. I also have an Irish fishman's knit sweater.

@LeeInTheNorthWoods Is it true about the traditional wearing method?
LeeInTheNorthWoods · 70-79, F
@justlooking2023 Well, I don't go regimental, and I wonder if it's true that a Scotsman only wears "socks, shoes, and talcum powder" with his kilts? ☺️ My Dad had Scottish heritage, but unfortunately didn't exhibit much ethnic involvement.

@LeeInTheNorthWoods It does probably take some getting used to. :) That is the term, i didn't know how to put it in proper jargon.
