I don’t really like fizzy drinks, oddly enough. Even back when I drank sodas, I tended to let them go flat.
"But…that’s just sweetened water !" my friends protested.

@bijouxbroussard I had a friend in grad school like that. He would open a can of Coke and put it back in the fridge for 24 hours. He called it defizzing his pop!
