Foods that help with high blood pressure.

My parents came by this afternoon. My dad can't keep his blood pressure regulated and had had a bad spell yesterday. He asked my mom to get online and look for foods that might help. She had already done this a while back and learned that tomato juice is supposed to help but he wouldn't drink it, but now he's ready to try again. So last night before bed he went to the fridge and got him a glass, then went to bed and told mom he "didn't know how she could drink that stuff as thick as it was". Apparently he told her he had to add hot water to get it thin enough to drink so she went to see what had happened to the juice. He had picked up the spaghetti sauce by mistake.

@TheDisciplinarian That’s very inspiring. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2016. I took classes suggested by my doctor, joined a support group and lost 60 lbs. One of the many books I bought (because I like to cook) was the one below. I continue to refer to it in making old recipes diabetic-friendly. I began with an A1C of 11.7; it’s been between 6.5-6.6 the last few tests.
