Foods that help with high blood pressure.

My parents came by this afternoon. My dad can't keep his blood pressure regulated and had had a bad spell yesterday. He asked my mom to get online and look for foods that might help. She had already done this a while back and learned that tomato juice is supposed to help but he wouldn't drink it, but now he's ready to try again. So last night before bed he went to the fridge and got him a glass, then went to bed and told mom he "didn't know how she could drink that stuff as thick as it was". Apparently he told her he had to add hot water to get it thin enough to drink so she went to see what had happened to the juice. He had picked up the spaghetti sauce by mistake.

Fried stuff help raise blood pressure, greens and health food help lower it

@DiegoWolfe His is up and down, it can go sky high and within the same day bottom out. Supposedly there's some rare genetic blood disorder that runs in the family but they've never put a name with it.

@robb65 Yoi should get him in to a doctors office as he may need to be on meds to regulate his pressure as the varried fluctuation could idicate heart issues

@DiegoWolfe He has meds for high bp but keeping it regulated is a problem. It will probably level out some once the weather gets warm and he can get outside and mess around with his tractors. He has an appointment with a specialist one day this week. He had heart surgery 30 something years ago now so it's something he's been dealing with for a long time.

@robb65 Well keep him calm and be ready to rush to an er if he bottoms out
