@empanadas I hear that in my community, too. I have one friend who likes her steak medium rare; at a restaurant once her mother called her out: "I didn’t raise you to eat raw meat like a white person ! We cook our meat !"
The rest of us were facepalming and hoping no one heard her. 🤦🏽‍♀️
