do you send restaurant food back if it's not good?
I usually don't. I'll just not go there anymore

Depends on just how bad it is, if it's the whole meal or just partial. If it's not enough to send back, I just mention it to the waiter to tell the cook.
Last week, I was at breakfast and the toast was stale. The rest of the meal was good. So I just asked the waitress to let the cook know. I saw her go into the kitchen and talk to the cook. I left her an extra tip for doing so.
