Depends on just how bad it is, if it's the whole meal or just partial. If it's not enough to send back, I just mention it to the waiter to tell the cook.

Last week, I was at breakfast and the toast was stale. The rest of the meal was good. So I just asked the waitress to let the cook know. I saw her go into the kitchen and talk to the cook. I left her an extra tip for doing so.

only if they cook it wrong , if it's not good I just tell the waitress's. but if I ask for a med rare steak and it's overcooked I'll send it back.

I have only done it once. I was on a date and the guy I was with and I both ordered Fettuccine Alfredo entrees that were extremely sour tasting last summer. They were inedible.

We overtipped the waitress anyway as it wasn’t her fault.
I'm pretty much the same. Having done quite a number of years of food service I know there is a low- profit margin in food, it's exhausting work and customers aren't always on their best behavior.
No. Because it offends the kitchen and they may do something really nasty to it before sending it back out to you.

If it’s bad I might but it’s risking getting your food spit on. I won’t go back.

If it is refundable , I click refund , and then eat it .

Once, the steak was that bad, I just couldn't eat it.

Don’t want no one spitting in my food. Nah.

Yes, have done
NiftyWhite · 46-50, F
Same. It has to have something incredibly wrong (a hair or fingernail, or be badly undercooked), because then I’ll want my money back.

If its awful then yes.
