Not a fan of lasagna. Something about the texture and the type pasta, triggers bad childhood memories, of getting sent to bed hungry, when I refused to eat Lasagna :-)

I'm sure it tastes great, based on the picture is looks just like eggplant parmesan ;-)
@Northwest sorry you dont like it

@Northwest Do everything Recipe wise to make your Lasagna EXCEPT using the big wide Lasagna Noodles...

Instead, use Angel Hair Pasta Noodles to make your layers! You won't really even need to cook them (or cook just a bit)!

You'll get All the other Great Italian Flavors without the "texture" issues!
Also, you could try Freshly Made but thinner Lasagna Pasta Noodles.
@Valerian true. Ive also made with rigatoni

@Bexsy And fettuccine!
Northwest · M
@Bexsy @Valerian I love Rigatoni, but that's not a classic Rigatoni recipe. I also hate fettuccine. Seriously. At of one of may favorite Italian restaurants, I don't even have to ask for a substitution, when I order fettuccine a frutti di mare, they bring me spaghetti a frutti di mare.

And I don't eat red meat. I've done vegetarian recipes: thinly slices zucchini, first grilled, and then baked lasagna-style, with portobello mushrooms, but that's not really lasagne.

It's kind of like buying avocado Humus, where they use avocado instead of garbanzo beans. Humus, in Arabic and Turkish literally means "garbanzo beans".

I guess I'm a picky eater :-)
@Northwest nothing wrong with that. Instead red meat can use Italian sausage. Which i used half and half
But again. You like what you like. Never apologize for that
