Why does cucumber taste like a weak cantaloupe?

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE cucumber.

GMO has taken away the flavor of most of our fruits and veggies. I would rather have watermelon WITH seeds to ensure flavor. Watermelon used to be sugary sweet now it's just mushy slush.
