Was looking into a ice franchise but the fees, equipment and royalties are quite high

Machines are supposed to last 20 years but has a one year warranty and corporate reserves the right to adjust my prices and give out free vends.
I offered to buy a broken down one here if the land comes with it. My ice supplier is supposed to let me have a couple from the university once we agree on a price and a bit of training
