Imma throw some kind of dinner together,,,

Anyone up for corned beef and cabbage smothered in taters, carrots, onions, petite peas and whatever else?

If it means I don’t have to cook, I’m always up for it 👍🏻

Sorry, no...just veggies, no cornbeef. And fresh fruit for dessert:-)

Actually sounds pretty good !!
@Teslin I thought so. My partner rarely eats leftovers so I'll be a happy camper several days.

Sounds good. I've never even seen corned beef. My husband used to eat it before we married but since I don't buy it he hasn't made any move to really buy it for himself unless hes camping so Ive never even seen it opened.
Once we very poor when I was little. Someone gave us a bag of groceries and the corned beef was the only thing that we were afraid to open. We never ate it. So it may be silly but from that time on I just never ate any.
@REMsleep Corned beef and cabbage is commonly served for the Irish St.Patricks day. Generally, served along with cabbage. I enjoy making this meal because it's pretty basic. I lay the beef into the crock pot there is usually a small spice packet to rub over the beef. I cut up the cabbage, potatoes, carrots, onion, adding a packet of dry ranch dressing and a packet of dry Au Jus or a cup of beef broth If evening I set the crock pot on high and let it cook overnight. By the next day it will be done, the meat falling apart, serve either from a large platter or just use a large spoon and serve from the crock pot. ENJOY!

@Grateful4you Thanks for the recipe everything seemed very normal to me except the ranch packet I'm a cook but I'm a bit surprised by that seasoning in that dish
@REMsleep I realize the Ranch packet is probably the worst blend of chemicals and faux "natural" flavorings, but it has this incredible way of enhancing flavor I tdoes pure magic when added to homemade chicken soup and many other dishes.
@WaryWitchWandering Alrighty then! See ya soon.
