Can u name a food that is perfect to eat in a cold Winter's day ?

@LucyFuhr: I cook potatoes and save the liquid. You can add onions here if you like (I do). cook them with the potatoes.

I use a quart of tomatoes or I guess that would be two large cans of stewed or diced tomatoes.

Add all this to the crock pot or big pot, add seasonings,salt , pepper, garlic-whatever. You can add meat if you want but I dont. Beef stew is good in this for meat.

simmer all day on low in crock pot.
