I stopped years ago. Don’t miss it. There is a dairy store that has a little ice cream & burger restaurant inside (Braums) that I go to if I want ice cream to eat inside. Got burnt out on Chinese carry out too. They use a lot of oil to cook in and the food tasted like it was cooked hours ahead of dinner hours and kept warm under a light. Ick.

@cherokeepatti it depends where Chinese restaurant you go out, but I've cut back on them too. I'm just going to get ice cream from the store.

@Chickie Most Chinese restaurants here start out good, they take care of what they cook & serve. But they slack off when business slows down for one reason or another or if a new restaurant comes into town and if they continue to do that they eventually go out of business.

@cherokeepatti Braum's is awesome. Too bad they closed a few stores in my city.

@Crazywaterspring wow, they are always busy here, have never heard of them closing a store.

@Crazywaterspring I don't have a Braum's where I live it must be a mid-western thing

@Chickie The dairy is based in Tuttle, Oklahoma…one county from where I live. They truck all the groceries and dairy products so they will probably only go so far…like the surrounding states.

@cherokeepatti The cost of transportation to some stores may explain it. The DFW area is growing like mad! Their dairy products are excellent.

@Crazywaterspring No it is the way Braums wanted it. They have a 300-mile radius for all their stores and want to have only one dairy plant and bakery to have a centralized location.
