Well it was AMAZING to actually eat some meat the other night!
I have been eating veg and rice for 2 years but to have meat in the same pot actually flavoured the whole dish in a way that i could never flavour it if i hadnt used the meat..... i actually didnt like the taste of the meat at first in fact it REPULSED ME!
The taste reminded me of when i ate a moth and wanted to cut my tongue off.... then after a few more nibbles on the meat (with an expression on my face that i am sure was priceless) after a few more nibbles it started to to taste like mums casserole and i went straight back to the 90's.....
most amazing part was how the potatoes tasted.... and how the whole dish had that extra zing which came from the meat.....
i will try some more roo met on coals... i think it will be better....
