What's you're favourite type of Pie ?

@Carla I do like a good pecan pie. My mother made pecan pies with pecans all the way through the filling. After eating her pecan pies, I don't really like the kind that are pecans on the top only with just "pie" the rest of the way through.

@ElwoodBlues that particular pie, pecans on the top, is just the sugary part of the filling is heavier than the pecans, so the pecans rise.
I have a recipe that cooks the filling before the pie is baked. The pecans dont then float.
I enjoy my pecan pie frozen. The sugar disallows the pie to freeze solid, so its biteable and delicious 🙂
