I went to a water bottling plant in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. It was taking river water, purifying it and selling it in Los Angeles as Glacier fed water. I laughed my face off. Yes the water starts in a glacier - a thousand miles away! It flows through several large urban areas and spends time in an artificial lake before it gets to Saskatoon. It would be better described as being pasturized water because of the number of pastures it flows through.
