It enhances any mood I am in and I can become more honest. If I feel depressed and empty I feel even more depressed and emptier. If I enjoy myself, I talk more and laugh. If I'm bored or annoyed I'm losing restraints and I'm more likely to let other people know how I really feel.

@CrazyMusicLover That's an interesting observation. I must say that you shouldn't drink much if you have depression and especially if you are on antidepressants or SSRI.

@SW-User I've learned when I was 18 and I haven't drunk when in bad mood since then. I must feel comfortable even for a glass of wine what some people don't seem to understand and consider it rude when I'm the only one not ordering a drink. I've never been on SSRI.

@CrazyMusicLover Dont give a damn what others think. Never fall for peer pressure. Do what suits you. People who find that rude are not worthy of your company.

@SW-User I never did when it came to alcohol or smoking. My health and well-being comes first. It's just weird being the only one sober around inebriated. I usually prefer to leave if I can. Once I got stuck like that at festival. That was one of the strangest experiences I had.
