@NickiHijab those are security devices, the alarms will go off if they cut the wires to remove them and they’ll go off if they don’t pay for the meat and try to smuggle it out the front door. Used to see them on expensive electronics like TV’s and other such devices, now they even put them on pharmacy items and now meat in some places.

@NickiHijab damned inflation is why. The price of fuel has skyrocketed impacting the price of farm goods transportation and other things including these packs of meat.

@NickiHijab In the USA conservatives blame the Democrates for rising fuel prices among other things and lately rising meat costs but honestly imo its not a cut and dry case of blame.

Only a little.
For every country in the world crude oil prices rose by a large percentage last year. Highest prices seen since 2014. Biden has nothing to do with world oil price.
Supply chain is broken due to Covid, again not Biden's fault thats world wide.
The only thing that he could do is to either release reserves or subsidize

@Carissimi Blaming oil prices on that pipeline is false news and utterly ridiculous. That pipeline is not part of the equation. It wasn't operational and its halt didn't suddenly affect prices. It was not operational. The pipeline was less than 10% completed and would have taken a very long time to complete.
