Walking in from a scawly night on the wintery streets into Bobby Byrnes Bar was like getting a warm bear hug from a long-lost loved one. It’s like everyone who needed to see everyone they ever liked decided to go there, all at the same time.
Being seated at a lovely, comfy corner spot and handed menus, surrounded by groups of old guys out with their pals, all tucking into pints and plates of gorgeous looking grub I felt ‘I’m really glad to be here’.

The chicken wings make an excellent starter, hard to beat with their mildly spicy flavours and sticky sauce, this is where the phrase finger-licking-good really comes to mind.
