anyone else on a strict diet

Now that summer is over I have to change my eating habits because I don't run or workout in the cold. I hate being limited to yummy snacks but I have to keep the perfect figure. I have 5 kids I'm 36 only stand 5'2 and 125 pounds it's getting harder to stay perfect and fit. Can't wait for summer to start again

Unfortunately, I gained a lot of weight last year due to being bedridden from various infections. Now I am on Nutrisystem. But there was a glitch in the delivery and have been without my diet food for about a week, fear I've gained some back. Trying to hold the line.
What exactly is nutrisystem

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: It's food delivery for three meals a day but you supply fresh vegetables and fruit plus milk for cereal. It's fairly inexpensive. The food is low calories, low fat and low carb. It's the only plan to works for me as I have been too sick and weak to prepare full meals. I went swimming all summer and lost some weight and gained some muscle so now I've switched to a cheaper plan that allows me to prepare my own meals 2 days a week. It was switching to the cheaper plan that caused my food delivery to be delayed.

Cooking is also a problem because I live in a rooming house and share the kitchen with 5 other people.
@greenmountaingal: aww this makes me sad! I wish I could help. I cook everyday for seven people in my house. I couldn't imagine sharing a kitchen with anyone let alone five people.

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: It's been an adjustment for me, a woman at the age of 71. And I've had to learn to share a bathroom with two guys. If I can just lose about 50 lbs., I think I might have the energy and will to get a job and come out of retirement. Then I might find a way to travel and see friends who are far away and eventually get a better living space. It's a project. And right now, it depends on sticking to a strict diet. It would also help if the current housing shortage would ease up. There are no inexpensive apartments available within 100 miles of here. So...I have to get in shape and improve my health so I can travel and check out other areas.
@greenmountaingal: sounds very hard. Where are you from?

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: I am from LA, moved from Hollywood to the Inland Empire; the desert. I lived in LA area most of my life. Where are you? And are the 7 people all your family?
@greenmountaingal: I'm originally from Stockton California but moved to Texas. Very different here. An yes the 7 people are my family five children and my husband and myself. It's hectic but I always wanted a large family

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: Glad you've realized your dream. I visited San Antonio a few years ago. I sat by the Alamo and contemplated my life.
@greenmountaingal: :( I'm sorry your going through a hard time. It will get better it always does. You just have to stay positive

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: Thanks! Unlike Travis, Crockett and Bowie, I still have my life. I appreciate your kind words. I'm hanging in there.
@greenmountaingal: well I know most people on here dislike me but I really am a nice person and I am always here to chat

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: Thanks. I appreciate that and will remember it. We both have to stick to those darn diets. I am going to join a gym next month because the pool where I live is not heated and the warm weather is passing. The gym has a heated pool. I know that will help. Can you and your family join a gym?
