Sure. You need a ham bone or at least a lot of good ham. Don't skip on the vegetables you need to sautee beforehand, and pay attention to consistency. Don't make it too thin, or into a thick glue. And a bunch of other stuff. It's easy to make, but you have to know what you want on the other end. :)
