Burgers in different countries

Over here in NZ, we put beetroot and egg in our burgers, kiwi burgers to be exact. Always been curious if any other countries do, or if those are weird things to add to a burger

Beetroot in a burger sounds wrong.

@SW-User well if it's wrong, it's a really tasty bad idea

I have heard of this yet haven't tried it. Egg plant is often dipped in real eggs for the non vegans. 😁

The beetroot thing is from Australia. Golden circle needed to promote canned veg and jumped on the burger craze and promoted that beetroot on burgers. I guess it worked 😂

i like the beet idea on a burger, have never had it but love beets. I usually put grated onions, salt, pepper & ginger in my burgers.

Funniest burgers I've seen were in a Tokyo McDonald's, they were shrimp cakes. I don't eat burgers.

I’ve had egg and onion in burgers before. Never beetroot though.
HeWhoLaughs · 26-30, M
@SW-User its really good, cause it's so juicy and sweet, compliments the pattie and egg really well
HotPizza71 · 51-55, M
