What makes food cold or warm? :/
@assemblingaknob Temperature so sushi for example is usually served cold and salad quite often. Whereas soups, stews, ramen etc tend to be warm and I’m learning easier for the body to digest.

@Notladylike Doesn't the temperature in our mouth warm the food? Like we chew it, then swallow it, and it stays in our stomach for a good hour before moving on to the intestines to be digested... So why does it matter what temperature a dish is served?
@assemblingaknob I’m with you I didn’t realise this was even a thing.
I’m getting acupuncture for different issues atm related to my spleen which apparently needs warm stuff to digest easier 🤷♀️. I’m interested to see what happens. I’m also taking these Chinese herbs which are warming my body, as I tend to always feel cold.
