People are stocking up on groceries before the storm....

@TexChik fortunately I have a freezer full of venison and we just bought half a hog (bean soup frozen too)

@CantExplain well you need veggies , milk, oil , and stuff🤷🏻‍♀️

@TexChik yeah I run out of carrots, potatoes, & green veggies. Have some frozen veggie but have craved parsley, green onions, tomatoes & others so much lately.

@cherokeepatti we stocked up at home before we left to come up here to the farm.

@TexChik I stocked up a week ago thinking this would last about a week and have already needed more cause I cook every meal. Got 10# of carrots & 15# of potatoes, more parsley, 2 gallons of milk, tomatoes plus more. It better last till this mess is over. Freezer is full of meat & some frozen veggies and fruit. We wouldn’t starve even if I ran out of those things but I like to stay on top of it to have a variety of things to cook.

@cherokeepatti That is always smart. We are going to head home tonight instead of the morning since the forecast has gotten more specific. Hubby is sleeping and I have gotten the house and barn winterized...all the smart plugs work with the app on my phone so I can control the heaters . its 12 and windy...brrr
